Blood Agar 5% is a general-purpose medium designed for the isolation, cultivation, and differentiation of a wide range of microorganisms. Each plate (15x100mm) contains 19mL of Tryptic Soy Agar enriched with 5% defibrinated sheep blood from healthy, antibiotic-free donor herds. Plates are optically clear, heavy-duty, and packaged in breathable moisture-control film to minimize condensation. Supplied as 10 plates per sleeve, 100 per box. Store refrigerated at 2–8°C.
