CRITERION™ Tryptic Soy Agar with Lecithin and Tween® 80 is formulated for the detection, enumeration, and recovery of microorganisms from surfaces of sanitary or regulatory importance. Designed for environmental monitoring, sanitation validation, and replicate plating techniques, this TSA formulation is widely used across pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, and cleanroom industries.

The addition of Lecithin and Tween® 80 allows the medium to neutralize residual disinfectants, such as quaternary ammonium compounds and phenolics, making it highly effective for recovering bacteria and fungi from disinfected surfaces.
