Immersion Oil Type B is a high-viscosity optical immersion medium formulated for use with 100X oil-immersion microscopy. It increases the numerical aperture of the objective lens by reducing light refraction, producing clearer, sharper visualization of fine cellular and microbial detail.

Type B is recommended when a thicker, more stable oil layer is desired—ideal for long scanning sessions, slow-drying applications, or slide types prone to spreading. This formulation is non-drying, non-fluorescing, and designed for consistent refractive index performance.

Packaged in a 125 mL bottle suitable for high-volume laboratory use.
