MicroSnap™ Enterobacteriaceae (EB) is a rapid bioluminogenic test designed for same-day detection and enumeration of Enterobacteriaceae — a key hygiene indicator group in food production and environmental monitoring.
Using a novel enzyme-based light reaction, the test detects EB bacteria through measurable bioluminescence, which is quantified in the EnSURE™ Luminometer. Results are available within the same work shift, enabling proactive corrective actions and faster product release.
The dual-device format includes both Enrichment and Detection Devices, simplifying workflow and reducing the need for specialized equipment or complex sample preparation. Hygiena’s patented Snap-Valve™ and built-in pipette design allow quick, precise handling for consistent results.
