3-Chloropropyl-functionalized silica gel is a reactive solid support material with 230–400 mesh particle size and approximately 2.5% surface loading. The matrix contains ~8% functionalization and a surface area of approximately 550 m²/g.
This material is commonly used as a support for immobilizing substrates on silica gel. The chloropropyl functionality enables further chemical modification, making it suitable for linker chemistry, surface derivatization, solid-phase synthesis, and catalyst immobilization applications.
