HiTrap® Protein G High Performance columns from Cytiva are prepacked affinity chromatography columns designed for the rapid purification of immunoglobulin G (IgG) from biological samples. The columns are filled with Protein G Sepharose™ High Performance resin, a cross-linked agarose matrix with high binding specificity for IgG across multiple species and subclasses.

These columns are optimized for use in liquid chromatography systems, as well as syringe- or pump-driven workflows, enabling flexible integration into protein purification protocols. With a binding capacity of up to 25 mg IgG per mL of resin and a particle size of approximately 34 µm, the columns provide high resolution and efficient separations.

HiTrap Protein G HP columns are commonly used in antibody purification, sample preparation for downstream analysis, and biopharmaceutical research. The columns are supplied pre-equilibrated in ethanol for preservation and should be stored at 2–8°C.
