Description:
This high-purity hydrochloric acid (37%) meets ACS specifications and is widely used in analytical, industrial, and research applications. It serves as an effective chlorine source for safer, greener chlorination of aromatic compounds and α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds, particularly when used in conjunction with OXONE® or other oxidative halogenation methods. Suitable for synthesizing intermediates such as 2-chlorotoluene, 2-chloroaniline, 2-chlorophenol, and 2-chloro-4-methylphenol.
