Methylene Blue- Pharmaceutical Secondary Standard, Certified Reference Material, Neat - 1 G
For laboratory, institutional, and professional use only. Not available for residential or personal purchase. Orders are subject to verification.
Methylene Blue Certified Reference Material (CRM) is supplied as a pharmaceutical secondary standard for analytical quality control, calibration, and method validation. Methylene blue, also known as methylthioninium chloride or methylene blue hydrate, is a phenothiazine dye widely used in pharmaceutical products, medical diagnostics, microbiology, and chemical analysis.
This reference material is traceable to USP 1428008 and supports use in regulated laboratory environments. It is suitable for a range of analytical applications including pharmaceutical testing, method development, quality control, and calibration procedures. Secondary standards provide a convenient and cost-effective alternative to primary standards while maintaining traceability to authoritative references.
Methylene blue CRMs are commonly used in pharmaceutical release testing, formulation analysis, staining validation, and routine QA/QC workflows. Production and certification are performed in accordance with ISO 17034 and ISO/IEC 17025, and a certificate of analysis is available to support regulatory compliance and analytical documentation.
Shipping and Storage Notice
Please note that shipping and long-term storage conditions for certified reference materials may differ. Manufacturers determine the most appropriate shipping method based on product stability and shipping data. Some CRM standards may ship at ambient temperature even though recommended long-term storage conditions are refrigerated or otherwise controlled. This does not affect product integrity when handled according to manufacturer documentation.
