Nitric acid is an oxidizing agent used in the oxidation and nitration of organic molecules.
Application
Nitric acid can be used as:

• A catalyst for the aerobic conversion of benzyl ethers to benzaldehydes.
• An oxidant for the oxidative bromination of activated aromatic compounds using alkali metal bromide salts to synthesize corresponding bromo-derivatives.

Highly concentrated red fuming nitric acid (HNO₃ >90%) for advanced oxidation and nitration reactions. Ideal for organic synthesis. 100 mL.
