Phospholipase A1 from Aspergillus oryzae, ≥10 KLU/g - 250 mL
For laboratory, institutional, and professional use only. Not available for residential or personal purchase. Orders are subject to verification.
Phospholipase A1 (PLA1) from Aspergillus oryzae is a recombinant enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of fatty acid esters at the sn-1 position of phospholipids, producing lysophospholipids and free fatty acids. Supplied as a liquid preparation with a minimum activity of ≥10 KLU/g, this enzyme is suitable for biochemical, enzymatic, and lipid research applications.
PLA1 is widely used in lipid modification, phospholipid analysis, and enzymatic synthesis workflows. It is particularly valuable in the preparation of lysophospholipid standards, regioisomer studies, and the production of functional lipids. The enzyme is also applied in biocatalysis for ester synthesis and modification in both aqueous and micro-aqueous systems.
Due to its specificity and activity, phospholipase A1 is commonly utilized in food science, natural products research, and industrial biotechnology applications where controlled lipid hydrolysis or modification is required.
