This certified reference material (CRM) is a single-component sulfur calibration standard containing 1000 mg/L sulfur (S) in water, prepared from high-purity sulfuric acid (H₂SO₄). The solution is traceable to NIST Standard Reference Materials (SRM) and manufactured under ISO 17034 with characterization according to ISO/IEC 17025, ensuring metrological traceability and analytical reliability.
Designed for inductively coupled plasma (ICP) techniques, this sulfur standard is suitable for instrument calibration, method validation, quality control, and performance verification in trace elemental analysis. It is commonly used for determination of sulfur in environmental samples, pharmaceuticals, industrial materials, and biochemical matrices such as amino acids.
