Sabouraud Dextrose Agar (SabDex) with Lecithin and Tween® 80 is formulated for the detection, cultivation, and enumeration of environmental yeasts and filamentous fungi. The addition of Lecithin and Tween® 80 neutralizes a broad range of surface disinfectants—such as quats, phenolics, and alcohol-based sanitizers—allowing accurate microbial recovery in critical sanitation verification programs.
Plate W71 features a 15 x 100 mm passive settling design, making it ideal for air monitoring, cleanroom surveillance, and routine environmental monitoring in controlled manufacturing environments, laboratories, and compounding pharmacies. The media’s acidic pH suppresses bacterial growth, enriching for fungal recovery and early detection of contamination events.
Manufactured in optically clear, heavy-duty polystyrene plates that stack securely and are packaged in breathable film to minimize condensation, these plates maintain media integrity while preserving sterility.
