The Sani-Stick™ Sponge-on-a-Handle with D/E Neutralizing Buffer and Twirl’em® Sampling Bag provides a convenient, reliable method for collecting environmental samples across food production, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and public health facilities. Each sterile unit contains a D/E-buffered sponge pre-attached to a rigid handle, enabling easy swabbing of both accessible and difficult-to-reach areas.
The D/E (Dey–Engley) Neutralizing Buffer effectively neutralizes a wide variety of disinfectants—including quaternary ammonium compounds, phenolics, iodine, and chlorine—ensuring accurate recovery of microorganisms such as Listeria, Salmonella, and E. coli. The included Twirl’em® bag features a leak-resistant closure system for safe transportation to the lab.
These sampling devices eliminate several prep steps, reduce contamination risk, and deliver consistent sampling performance for HACCP, environmental monitoring, and validation programs.
