StaphTEX™ Blue (50-test kit) is a rapid latex agglutination system used for the identification of Staphylococcus aureus, including methicillin-resistant strains (MRSA). The assay detects the presence of coagulase and/or protein A, producing an unmistakable visual agglutination reaction in under 30 seconds.

Large blue latex particles enhance readability on the contrasting white reaction card, making interpretation fast and reliable—even in high-throughput clinical or microbiology environments.

This compact kit includes everything needed to perform testing: latex reagent, positive and negative controls, reaction cards, and mixing sticks. All reagents are ready to use and packaged to conserve bench and refrigerator space.
