StaphTEX™ Blue is a rapid latex agglutination test designed for the qualitative detection of Staphylococcus aureus, including methicillin-resistant strains (MRSA). The test identifies organisms that produce coagulase and/or protein A, two hallmark characteristics of S. aureus.

With results available in under 30 seconds, StaphTEX™ Blue offers an ultra-fast and reliable method for microbiology labs, clinical testing, and environmental monitoring programs. The test features large blue latex particles that agglutinate on a bright white reaction card, making positive and negative reactions visually distinct and easy to interpret.

Each kit includes everything needed for testing—liquid controls, latex reagent, reaction cards, and mixing sticks—all organized in a compact workstation box that saves refrigerator space.
